The hotel had a bit small rooms, which was challenging due to my partner's knee injury. However, the location was fine, placing me right in the middle of where we wanted to be. The facilities were decent, but there were some issues with service.

When I arrived, the rooms had a bit of a musky smell, but once inside, they were clean and comfortable, though the air conditioner's noise from the corridor outside was a bit bothersome. The service was mostly helpful, especially when they fixed the room temperature promptly. The location was superb, putting us near everything we needed for a nice walk around Mackinaw before heading across the bridge. The dining experience left much to be desired with expired yogurt and prepackaged muffins. Overall, the hotel offers a good value for an affordable stay near the national forest.
